Unfortunately sometimes we feel a little ‘meh’. It’s just part of life. Here are my top tips to brighten your day! 🙂
Connect with your friends & family, whether it be a phone call, email, whatsapp or good old fashioned card or letter. Sure to give you a feel – good boost! Friends have the power to turn your frown upside down.
Spend some quality time with your furbaby – whether he/she be a dog, cat or bunny. It’s hard not to smile when hanging out with your pet!
Bring Fresh flowers into the house. Whether you treat yourself to a fancy Bloom & Wild Bouquet, Aldi Blooms or garden cuttings. The bright colours & scents really make you feel alive and at one with nature.
Listen to some feel good music. If I want a mood boost I listen to musicals! The greatest showman works every time. I have been known to sing along too!
Spread happiness all around by smiling, giving out compliments. Spread cheer all around!
Get moving – I simply don’t feel like ‘me’ when I haven’t been the gym. There is literally no negatives to this past time! Get those endorphins released. If you can’t get to the gym, head out for a walk in the countryside or coast. You can’t beat that ‘blowing the cobwebs’ away feeling.
Clean up – Pop the radio on & off you go! I don’t know about you but a clear, clutter free space makes me feel instantly more calm & content. All about the organisation!
This goes without saying but make time for yourself. Whether its running yourself a hot bath, watching love island or indulge in a good book. In this multi taking modern day & age often forget to do this.
Indulge in a good old cup of tea ( & quite possibly a biccy) It warms the soul!
Make plans. Treat yourself to a journal. Get the calendar out & plan lots of fun activities so you have lots to look forward to!
Until next time,
